SHALYN is a young singer and pianist breaking out into the world of music as a performer. At the age of 17, she has competed in the World Championships of the Performing Arts and won 11 medals. She has performed in various venues and recently sung the National Anthem in front of over 2,500 people at the 2011 Colorado High School State Basketball Championship game. Born in Denver, CO to immigrant parents, she is still developing her Chinese Indonesian American identity. Shalyn has loved music for as long as she can remember and has big dreams of becoming a successful singer. She will be celebrating the release of her first EP Spring 2011.
